Doctor Appointment: December 27th
Happy 37 weeks to us! We're officially full term so no stopping us now!
Dilated: 1 fingertip
Effaced: 75% possibly more
Station: VERY low once again
Baby's estimated weight: 7.5 lbs
So, no major progress- but the doctor said he does not expect the baby to wait three more weeks at the station he is currently at. We'll see!
OK- here's the poopy part. Gained 9 lbs in 2 weeks. While I'm sure Christmas dinner and the yummy cookies my folks brought with them attributed to the gain- my hands, feet and ankles are VERY swollen. I'm nearly outgrowing my "fake" wedding ring (bought due to previous swelling) and none of my shoes fit any longer. NONE! So instead of wearing my house shoes to work mom lent me a pair of her backless tennis shoes- that she broke-in nicely for me. Thanks mom!
Next appointment- January 3rd.
