Slow but Steady

Doctor Appointment: January 3rd
Dilated: 2 cm
Effaced: 80%ish
Station: Lower than last week (lower than zero)
Baby’s Estimated Weight: 7.5-8lbs

Lost ONE pound- woo hoo! After all the water weight from last week this was a nice reprieve. Doctor Sam said we're making progress but slowly. He still believes I have a chance to go early (7-10 days possibly) but it seems that I'm holding steady. Little Man is in position and I've had some practice conractions over the past few weeks...so everyone sprinkle baby dust in our direction!

I asked the doctor how far beyond the due date he will allow us to go. No more than 2 weeks so, Little Man for sure will be a January baby. I'm in no hurry to rush things along as I want him to come when he's ready (and when mommy's ready too).

Bryan and I are planning to see a few more movies and whoop it up over the next few weeks or days (whichever we're allowed). We want to make the most of the time we have left as a solo couple and we figure this will pass the time a little quicker for us. We're both SO excited to finally meet our Little Man.
