Sean is 7 weeks old!

We can't believe time has been flying by so fast! Our little boy is already 7 weeks old! Last week we took him to get his first professional picture taken. Here's our favorite shot...it makes my heart soar to know that's my hand he's holding and that he's looking up at me when the shot was taken. This is the face I wake up to every morning.....(sigh!).



On a sad note my Grandpa Tom passed away last evening. Grandpa had been having some health issues as of late (heart surgery, etc) and was unable to fight off the fluid that was building up once again. Mom is hanging in there and considered herself lucky to be with Grandpa when he passed. I know it will be an emotional weekend, but it will be good to see the family despite the circumstances.

Sisi is doing a lot better. She hasn't had a seizure for nearly 5 days! I almost hate saying that outloud because I don't want it to bring her bad luck. Her birthday was Wednesday (the day we met and I adopted her back in 1998). Grammy and Poppy sent her a package of treats which we opened at the park. Sean and I took her there for a sniffing extravaganza and short walk. She likes to ride in her bag mostly now but only if she can see straight ahead- where we are walking. She likes to be the boss.
