4 Month Check Up

Little man is growing like a weed! 14 lbs, 15.5 oz (sheesh, can we just say 15 lbs?) and now 24.5 inches long. Whew! He's right at the 50th percentile for his weight and is just shy of average for his height. Dr. K said his growth is perfect and he appears to be doing just great! Of course there were some shots, but we got through them without any major incident. Or so I say, Sean may feel differently.

Here's the coolest part though -> we get to start SOLIDS!!

First we start with rice cereal, then if successful after 7-10 days we can progress to real baby food. We had our first taste of something besides milk this past Saturday morning. Little man did great and was showing off his skills for daddy (mommy and Sean practiced with an empty spoon a few times over the past several weeks). With sweet potatoes waiting on deck we're sure to have a good "messy face" picture or two to share with you all very soon! We can't believe our boy is growing so fast!
