Last Tuesday my friend Erin and I hit our last consignment sale of the season.
We received special "mommy-to-be" passes which allowed us to shop BEFORE the general public. Let's just say Erin and I were more than excited! We stopped by Bellacino's to fuel up with some pizza- it was very good! Ham and pineapple on my half and Tomato and Pineapple on Erin's. Gabbing away we nearly lost track of the time and sped back over to the sale so we wouldn't miss any bargains.
Once we got to the sale I made a b-line to two important things: 1) bouncy (found a fabulous one for $6 for the grandparents) and 2) diaper champ ($10!). After taking my first load to the check-out I was given a tub to dump the rest of our finds in- which we would do so for the next hour or so.
Here were my purchases:
- diaper champ
- bouncy
- a Sesame Street farm toy- shaped like a barn
- a little workbench for Daddy's Helper
- a maternity sweater
- a maternity turtleneck
- bag of socks
- several onsies
- baby clothes...of course!
It was so much fun! Erin and I plan to hit the circuit again next year....starting in February. By then both of us will be mothers and may have different Holy Grail's to search for.
