Grandma Lou

My Grandma Lou passed away at approximately 1:00am Saturday morning. She had recently been diagnosed with stomach cancer and had fought very hard the last several weeks to survive. After a surgery to remove nearly all of her stomach it was discovered that the cancer had spread to her esophagus and most of her lymph nodes.
There will be a small ceremony at her assisted living home in Washington this Thursday and a private family burial to follow. She had a quiet demeanor and a wonderful sense of humor. Her strength and grace shined during her last days on earth and I know she will be missed by many. Below is a picture of Grandma Lou and Dad.
